Everything You Need to Know About Going to the Surf Rodeo.
Looking for the answers and what to expect at the Surf Rodeo? The following information will help you plan your day for our unique and one of a kind festival.
Where do I get tickets?
How do online tickets work?
When you complete the purchase of your ticket(s) HERE you will receive an email (Be sure to enter an active email account). That email will have links to your tickets. You will need to print out the barcoded ticket and bring it with you to the gate to be scanned. The print out is your ticket. If you are participating in a contest please print your ticket and bring with you to the event.
Can I purchase tickets the day of the rodeo?
Yes! Tickets will be available for purchase at the event. We recommend purchasing before the day of as they may sell out.
You must provide your bar coded ticket to receive a wristband. Wristbands must be worn at all times throughout the event. Once applied wristbands are NON-TRANSFERABLE! If wristbands are tampered with or transferred you will be removed from the event.
Do kids pay?
Kids 10 and Under are Free!
Where is the entrance? Do I need a ticket?
New this year, Surf Rodeo is fully enclosed including Vendor Row. A paid ticket is required to enter the event. The main entrance is located under the Ventura Pier an additional entrance is located just south along the strand.
Where do I park?
We highly recommend biking and or ubering to our event

There will be a Bike Corral for bike parking. Parking at your own risk.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the vendor area is asphalt and the beach walk path runs parallel with the beach. We will also have large plastic walkways on the sand (the entire event may not be wheelchair accessible as it is on the sand).
Is there an Uber and Lyft Pick-up and drop off?
New Users: use code SURFRODEO for $5 off 4 rides
Existing Users: use code SURFRODEO19 for 10% off 2 rides to/from the event.
Where do I find which bands are playing and which day?

What you can bring
Small coolers (No Alcohol) - all drinks must be unopened
Food - but we will have lots of amazing food trucks to choose from
Small bag (one per person). Preferably clear
Beach chairs, blankets and beach towels
Standard non professional cameras
Sun umbrella - NO EZ UPS or large umbrellas
Medications with a prescription and valid ID matching.
What you can't bring
No weapons, knives, firearms or anything that security/police deem a weapon
No narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Marijuana is still illegal to consume in public
No Alcohol - Please do not sneak booze. We don't want the State Beach Department to shut us down
No colors/Patches Of Affiliation
No Pets (except service dogs with proper paperwork) No exceptions
No large tarps
No EZ Ups
No glass of any kind, including glass bottles
No tents of any kind
No drones or any other unmanned aircraft
No water guns and water balloons
No bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters (motorized or push), hoverboards, Segway’s will be allowed inside the Surf Rodeo.
No chains or other spiked jewelry
No fireworks or other explosives
No totems / flags / flag poles
No megaphones, PA systems, air horns
No large coolers
No Video recording equipment
No professional cameras and camera equipment
No audio recording equipment
No amplified sound devices (wireless speakers, etc.)
No flyers / stickers without approval
No selfie sticks
No Frisbees or flying discs of any size
No sales of any kind without the purchase of a vendor space
All personal belongings will be searched prior to entrance

How do I stay up to date on ticket specials & exciting updates?
